The Maplewood Nursing Home concentrates its therapy programs to meet the exact needs of each individual.  Experience shows the best results are obtained when our therapies, in conjunction with the nursing staff, interact with each other and share common restorative goals. This regimen aids rehabilitation, improves function and contributes to life enrichment.

Highly skilled and dedicated on-site professionals combined with complete, state-of-the-art facilities and equipment promote our philosophy to encourage residents to "do all that they can do." The needs of each resident are evaluated as he or she enters the program, and an individual therapy plan is designed. This plan is continuously reviewed and updated based on changing capabilities and needs.

In 2009 the Maplewood therapy gym was doubled in size.  This new spacious Physical Therapy area features a full-range of therapeutic devices: practice stairs, progressive resistive exercise equipment, ultrasound, whirlpool, and other modalities.
